35th Annual Membership Meeting on The Mystic Featured Fine Food From Other 504 Borrowers
June 23, 2008 - CTCIC once again selected Class-A Tall Ship (and showcase 504 Project) The Mystic as the site for its 35th Annual Meeting. Our partners survived torrential rains on their way to the dock only to enjoy clearing skies and a smooth sail under the direction of Owner and Captain Amy Blumberg.
Friends sampled a fabulous array of hors d'eouveres provided by 504 portfolio companies Saugatuck Kitchens and The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station and served by Riverhouse staff utilizing the ample galley facilities aboard the schooner.
Sometime during the cruise CTCIC managed to conduct a short business meeting where Paul Goodwin (former president, Eastern Steel) Fred Farnsworth (former president, Eastern Elevator), Jeff Hubbard (SVP, Webster Bank) and Mark Candido (President, Quinnipiac Bank & Trust) were re-elected to new three year terms on the Board of Directors.
During the meeting Bernard Sweeney, SBA District Director for CT, presented CTCIC Board Chairman Mark Candido with a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of CTCIC's 35th year of operation. |
